Straight answers before you book
Our guides cite the NCCIH, Mayo Clinic and published studies, and say plainly where the evidence stops: what a head spa, a gua sha facial or a pain relief massage can do, and what it can't.
What is a head spa? Every step, explained
A head spa treats the scalp the way a facial treats the skin: it looks first, cleans deeply, then spends a long stretch on massage and warm water. Here is what each step does, what O2's 4 packages include, and when to see a dermatologist instead.

Scalp massage for hair growth: what the evidence shows
Two small studies get quoted on almost every head spa page. Here is what they measured, where they fall short, and what a scalp treatment can reasonably offer.

Gua sha facial benefits: what the research shows
Gua sha began as a body treatment that leaves red marks on purpose. The facial version is lighter and far less studied, so here is what the trials found, where they stop, and who should skip it.

What is a head spa?
A head spa is a lie-down scalp treatment: the scalp is checked, deep-cleansed, massaged and rinsed. At O2 the 60 minute Package D includes a before-and-after scalp analysis, an aromatherapy oil massage, head, neck, shoulder and arm massage, deep scalp cleansing, waterfall hydrotherapy, nano steam, a scalp serum and an ozone comb.
How much does a head spa cost in Arcadia at O2?
Package D (60 minutes) is $156 at the regular rate and $78 at the member rate. The 75 minute Package C is $176 or $88, and the two 90 minute packages are $196 or $98 (Package B) and $276 or $138 (Package A, with back massage and hot stones).
What is the member rate?
Our booking page lists two prices for every session, Regular and Member, and the member rate is roughly half the regular one on every head spa package and facial. Ask the front desk or call us to find out how membership works before you book.
Which facial should I book?
The 60 minute Customized Facial covers cleansing, exfoliation, steam and one skin solution (hydrating, brightening or anti-aging). Add jade gua sha and facial sculpting with the 75 minute Jade Gua Sha Facial; add an aqua peel, LED light therapy and a scalp, neck and shoulder massage with the 90 minute Luxury Facial.
Do you offer massage for pain?
Yes. The Pain Relief Massage menu has a 60 minute Targeted Treatment ($120 regular, $80 member), a 60 minute Full-Body Treatment ($188 or $90), and Quan Tong device therapy in 45 or 90 minute sessions. Tell us where it hurts when you book; if the pain is new or severe, see a licensed healthcare provider first.
What are your hours?
We are open every day of the week from 10 AM to 8 PM, weekends included. Book online at any time, or call (626) 857-6608 during opening hours.
