What is O2 Head & Beauty Spa?
A head spa and facial studio on Baldwin Avenue in Arcadia. Most guests come for the head spa: a scalp analysis, deep cleansing, an aromatherapy oil massage of the head, neck and shoulders, waterfall hydrotherapy under a warm arch of water, nano steam, a scalp serum and an ozone comb. The longer packages add hair nourishment, more massage, a mini facial or hot stones.
The facial menu runs from a 60 minute customized facial to 90 minutes of myofascial facial lifting, with jade gua sha, an aqua peel and LED light therapy along the way, and the pain relief menu covers targeted, full-body and Quan Tong device sessions. None of it is medical treatment. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health summarizes research suggesting massage may help ease stress and some kinds of pain for a while, and that modest promise is the one we make.
